(WEST PALM BEACH, FL) May 15, 2008 - Maureen Baeringer, RN, Director of Professional Relations for SeniorBridge in West Palm Beach, was recently appointed chair of the Alzheimer’s Community Care, Inc. Dementia Committee. SeniorBridge is a specialized organization that serves seniors and their families by managing complex, chronic care in the home and other settings. The company has five Florida locations including, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Naples and West Palm Beach.

Ms. Baeringer, a registered nurse, has been with SeniorBridge for more than two years and has over 32 years experience in health care in a variety of settings and varying components, including marketing, public relations and sales. She is a graduate of King's County Hospital Center School of Nursing in Brooklyn, New York and resides in Boynton Beach.

The mission of Alzheimer's Community Care, Inc. is to promote and provide specilized, compassionate, quality care to patients with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders and to help support their caregivers. The goals of the dementia committee are to create and identify specific standards of care and to educate policy makers of the necessity of these standards for service delivery to patients and caregivers affected by Alzheimer's disease or related disorders.
