Dr. Bludau will contribute to the objectives of the Boston Branch by consulting with the care team to provide insight into clients’ care plans by sharing knowledge, ideas and new information to augment the delivery of care. These will include: new care approaches; technology and medical best practices; building a system to tie SeniorBridge more directly to the Boston medical community to improve collaboration with specialists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to meet the needs of SeniorBridge clients.

“We are honored that Dr. Bludau has embraced the SeniorBridge care model and will work with us to build the best possible solutions to managing complex, chronic care in the home and other outpatient settings,” said SeniorBridge president & CEO Eric C. We also look forward to Dr. Bludau’s thought leadership in collaboration with the members of our Professional Advisory Board.”

Dr. Bludau is a prolific author of articles on all areas of geriatric medicine. He lectures internationally to both healthcare professionals and consumers. Among numerous contributions to the field of geriatrics, he has developed curricula and guidelines on chronic geriatric care for nurses.

“Excellent geriatric care is achieved through excellent nursing care,” said Dr. Bludau. “The geriatrician can guide the process, but the daily caregiver serves as our eyes and ears. By integrating professional geriatric care management and social work with nursing, SeniorBridge has created an innovative and high quality service for both its clients and their families. It will be exciting to help the Boston team take their care to an even higher level.”
