SeniorBridge in the News |
Dr. Eric Rackow, newly appointed President and CEO of SeniorBridge, writes an open letter to friends and colleagues (NEW YORK, NY) October 30, 2007Dear Friends and Colleagues, I am writing to let you know that I have joined SeniorBridge as President and CEO. As the former President of New York University Hospitals Center, and in more than 35 years working in hospital settings, I have become keenly aware of the need to develop new ways to provide high-quality, cost-effective healthcare for our increasingly aging population with complex chronic healthcare needs. I have been impressed with the SeniorBridge model of care that enables patients to live safely at home instead of needing long-term facility placement. The interdisciplinary care management team of social workers, nurses, wellness specialists, and in-home caregiving staff offers the necessary structure and oversight to promote safety and comfort. The team closely collaborates with the patient’s healthcare providers, professional advisors, and family. Our goal at SeniorBridge is to provide the highest quality and safest care for our patients. I am proud to join the SeniorBridge team, and on behalf of the organization want to thank you for your continued support. We look forward to continuing to make our services available to your clients or patients. If I can be of any help or answer any questions about our services, please feel free to call me. I look forward to speaking or meeting with you in the future. Sincerely, Eric C. Rackow, M.D. President and CEO |
