SeniorBridge Expands Services in Florida
Senior Care Management Services Joins SeniorBridge

(NEW YORK, NEW YORK), November 10, 2009 - SeniorBridge, a provider of professional services for individuals requiring care for chronic health conditions, is expanding its business in Florida. It has acquired Senior Care Management Services, a well-established care management company headquartered in Melbourne, Florida. This acquisition makes SeniorBridge one of the largest providers of home-based care in the state.

Ms. Peg Holloway, BSW, RN, CRRN, founded Senior Care Management Services in 2001. Ms. Holloway has over 30 years of nursing and social work experience working with the geriatric population in long-term care, rehabilitation, and home health. Her extensive experience and her genuine compassion have earned her the respect of senior care professionals and client families from all over the country. She is currently a member of the Brevard Association of Human Services where she served as vice president for 2 years. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the Yellow Umbrella and Florida Space Coast Guardian. She is a CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse) specializing in elderly rehabilitation needs. She will continue to play a valuable role with SeniorBridge as Professional Development Specialist.

“I am very excited that Senior Care Management has joined forces with a national company like SeniorBridge. This merger will enable Brevard and Indian River counties to broaden the scope of resources available to our elderly population,” says Holloway.

“The dedicated staff of Senior Care Management Services is comprised of talented RN’s, LPN’s, Care Assistants, and Social Workers. They are all highly qualified and share our concern for enabling people with chronic health conditions to maintain their quality of life and remain safely at home or in the residence of their choice,” said Eric Rackow, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer of SeniorBridge.

The SeniorBridge integrated system of care in the home, encompasses the full range of services. A multidisciplinary care team provides coordinated in-home services including, nursing, psychosocial support, personal care, companionship and enhancement of wellness to maximize client health. Clinical research has shown that this approach can lead to reduced emergency room visits, unnecessary hospital admissions and institutionalization for patients with complex chronic conditions. Families experience more peace of mind while individuals are more likely to remain at home with quality of life.
