Rona Bartelstone Care Management and Home Healthcare Joins SeniorBridge
SeniorBridge has expanded its business in the South Florida area by acquiring Rona Bartelstone Care Management and Home Healthcare, a well-established healthcare company headquartered in Ft. Lauderdale. This acquisition makes SeniorBridge the largest provider of in-home chronic healthcare services in the state.
Rona Bartelstone Care Management and Home Healthcare was founded in 1981 and has built a local and national reputation for providing innovative, high-quality services. “Rona Bartelstone shares our concern for enabling people with chronic health conditions to remain safely at home with good quality of life,” said Eric Rackow, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer of SeniorBridge. “This partnership will allow us to be even more successful in supporting our clients’ complex care needs,” he pointed out.Rona Bartelstone, C-ACSW, LCSW, BCD, CMC, will be joining the SeniorBridge staff as a Senior Vice President for Care Management. Ms. Bartelstone, a national leader in the field of geriatric care management, publishes and speaks widely on topics related to aging, caregiving, and chronic illness. She was a founding member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and its past president from 1988 through 1991. She continues to be active in associations concerned with eldercare.
