Steven H. Boyce, MBA
Executive Director

Mr. Boyce has over 12 years of experience working in various management and marketing roles within the healthcare industry. In his previous role as Director of Admissions and Marketing, he was responsible for developing and leading strategic outreach initiatives for a number of leading healthcare facilities in the Northeast. He was also responsible for census growth and program development at several large skilled nursing facilities in Massachusetts and Connecticut, and worked as a teacher for developmentally disabled adults in a residential setting. Mr. Boyce has received a BS in Health Administration from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, and has earned an MBA from Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts.

Lisa Tasonis, RN
Director of Client Services

Before joining SeniorBridge, Lisa Tasonis worked as a registered nurse doing utilization review and discharge planning for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts in Quincy. She was nursing supervisor at Sunbridge of Weymouth, a large skilled nursing facility, and she has also worked as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit and emergency department at Milton Hospital. Prior to her licensure as a registered nurse, Ms. Tasonis was employed at Boston Emergency Medical Services as an emergency medical technician providing exclusive 9-1-1 emergency care and ambulance dispatch services for the sick and injured within the Boston communities, She received an associate degree in nursing from Laboure College in Dorchester, where she was awarded the Catherine Laboure Scholarship, and is currently completing a BSN at the University of Massachusetts, Boston Campus. She is licensed as an RN in Massachusetts and certified in basic life support by the American Heart Association.

Gail Schwartz
Director of Professional Relations

Gail is a native Californian who relocated to Massachusetts to take on a management position that included coaching and supporting the sales and marketing teams for 18 nursing homes and solely managing 9. In her previous role with Sava Seniorcare, she was responsible for educating and maintaining high-level key accounts, working alongside key executives of managed care plans, hospitals, and large physician practices in the North East area. Gail's passion for seniors began while working at a not-for-profit hospital during college and continued in her professional career at assisted living and nursing home care facilities. Gail earned a BA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst studying communications and psychology.

Ruth Farrago
Vice President of Regional Operations

Ruth Farrago has over 20 years of experience in health care administration. She was the Administrator of an inpatient and outpatient comprehensive Rehabilitation and Orthopedic Division at Downstate Medical Centers in Brooklyn. She has an extensive background in home care marketing and management having worked for St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers as the Director of Intake and was then the Branch Manager/Administrator at New York Health Care. Ruth was also the Executive Director of Sunrise Assisted Living of East Meadow where she was responsible for the daily operations of the facility, client and family satisfaction, management of the sales and marketing team and coordinated community outreach and events. Ruth has a Bachelors of Science from SUNY College of Oneonta where she majored in Business Economics and she is currently completing a Masters Degree at Long Island University specializing in Gerontology.
