Dorothy Burns, RN, MSN, MBA, CCRN Executive Director
Dorothy has held significant positions of responsibility as a clinical operations
executive in hospital settings before joining SeniorBridge. She was formerly Vice
President, Clinical Operations, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne,
heading up strategic planning and initiatives, budget management, and safety and
quality control for surgical, trauma, and patient care services. She also previously
served as Director of Patient Care Services at Holmes, activating its new Heart
Center, streamlining hospital services to improve patient care, and winning awards
for stroke care and organ donation programs. Dorothy began her nursing career as
Nurse Manager in the ICU at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Pennsylvania, where she developed
new programs to improve cardiac surgical and ICU services. She is a Registered Nurse
who holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Keuka College in New York
State, a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Widener University in Pennsylvania,
and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Central
Florida, Orlando.
Peg Holloway, RN, CRRN, BSW Professional Development Specialist
Peg Holloway is the founder of Senior Care Management Services, a company that joined
SeniorBridge in 2009. Peggy has over 30 years of nursing and social work experience
with the geriatric population, in long term care, rehabilitation, and home health.
She launched the Support Group for the National Osteoporosis Foundation in Brevard
County as well as the Brevard County Stroke Support Group in conjunction with the
American Stroke Association, and she founded the Brevard County Amputee Peer Support
Group. She is a member of the Brevard Association of Human Services where she served as vice president for 2 years.
She is also on the Board of Directors for the Yellow Umbrella and Florida Space Coast Guardian. She is a CRRN
(Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse) specializing in elderly rehabilitation
needs. Her extensive experience and her genuine compassion have earned her the
respect of senior care professionals and client families from all over the country.
Jeffrey Mark, NHA, RRT, QRP, CCM, CDMS, MS Care Manager
Jeffrey brings more than 30 years of experience in various healthcare settings to SeniorBridge. Jeff was a care manager and marketing representative for Senior Care Management for the last year. For 12 years prior he was an operations director of a private case management business in New York State. He managed business development and supervised case managers across the state. Mr. Mark began his healthcare career as a respiratory therapist and subsequently was an administrator of two skilled nursing homes in upstate New York was COO of a healthcare system in Oneida, New York. He is a certified case manager, qualified rehab provider and certified disability management specialist. He received his BPS degree in healthcare management from SUNY Institute of Technology and a MS in management from SUNY Binghamton, New York.
Anne B. Pertierra RN, BSN, MSHSA Care Manager
Anne has over 30 years experience in the care of elderly and chronically ill adults in both the home and hospital setting. Her extensive experience in adult nursing care includes: medical, surgical, public health, home health, psychiatric, and intensive care. She was an ADN clinical instructor at Brevard Community College in Cocoa, Florida, for a year. For the next sixteen years, Anne worked for Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, as Coordinator of Nursing Staff Development and Director of Healthcare Education. As Director of Education she was on the board of directors for the Brevard Alzheimer’s Association. Ms. Pertierra continued her career in the care and teaching of the elderly and chronically ill adults while working for Shands Home Care in Melbourne. Anne received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Mount Saint Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio, and her Master of Science in Health Services Administration from the University of Saint Francis in Peoria, Illinois. She is a licensed Registered Nurse in Florida and Ohio.
Diane Silkowski, LPN Care Manager
Diane was a Geriatric Care Manager for Senior Care Management Services, prior to joining SeniorBridge in 2009. She has been a nurse for 15 years, and has worked with people who have cerebral palsy, multiple medical conditions, and special needs. She worked closely with ARNPs and MDs, supervised caregivers, and taught infection control protocol to staff at Cerebral Palsy of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Diane has also been an acute care nurse for patients in crisis at a psychiatric inpatient hospital, St. Barnabas Behavioral Health, in Toms River, New Jersey. In 2004, she relocated to Florida, where she focused on the geriatric population as Charge Nurse on the Dementia Unit at Autumn House, in Vierra, a private assisted living facility. Diane graduated with honors in nursing from Ocean County Vocational Technical School, Toms River, NJ. There, she achieved a clinical achievement award from the Nursing School Program. She is currently working on obtaining her Care Management Certification.
Rose Anne Taylor, RN, CCM, QRP Care Manager
Rose brings a wide range of past nursing experience to Senior Bridge.
She most recently spent 18 years working for Intracorp, a division of CIGNA, as a nurse case manager coordinating medical treatment for injured workers. She is a Qualified Rehabilitation Provider for the State of Florida (QRP) and is also a Certified Case Manager (CCM). After graduating from the Johns Hopkins Hospital School of Nursing in Baltimore, Maryland, she worked for the City of Baltimore in Public Health and at the City Hospital. Additional experience in orthopedic, medical and surgical nursing care was gained over the years working part time while raising a family. She worked full time as an Occupational Health Nurse for the GM Desert Proving Grounds in Mesa, Arizona and later as Head Nurse at Kahn’s Meats in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a volunteer for Health First Hospice in Melbourne, Florida, she provides respite for caregivers.
Mike Ward, BSW Care Manager
Mike came to SeniorBridge from his own company called Senior Advocates of Brevard, which provided geriatric care management and private case management for senior citizens in the north Brevard community. Mike entered the field of eldercare after serving as the Director of Social Services for Wuesthoff Health Systems, in Rockledge, Florida, which ignited his passion for assisting the elder population and their families. Mike has a varied career within the mental health field, providing individual, group and family counseling to people in need within the Fairfax County, Virginia Department of Mental Health/Substance Abuse Services. As a member of the Loudoun County Department of Social Services in Virginia, Mike developed, implemented and managed several treatment programs for adolescents and their families. Mike is a graduate of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and holds a Graduate Certificate in Public Administration Management from Shenandoah University in Winchester. While in Virginia, he earned certifications in training and development and family mediation.
Brenda Taylor Care Manager Assistant
Brenda has over 20 years experience in the healthcare field. During the last few
years, Brenda has worked in the geriatric and home care management field for
Senior Care Management Services as a Case Manager Assistant. Before joining Senior
Care Management, she spent 8 years working for a neurosurgeon in Melbourne, Florida
as a medical assistant. She attended Tucson College in Arizona and has a Medical
Assistant diploma. Brenda volunteers as President of the American Legion Auxiliary
in Palm Bay, Florida.
David Mattioli, RN, CMC, BSN Vice President, Regional Operations

David Mattioli brings more than 17 years' experience in a variety of healthcare
settings to SeniorBridge. For 9 years previously, he was the Administrator of Almost
Family in West Palm Beach, responsible for operations and delivery of care for the
in-home program in 4 counties, and for a time served dually in that role at Almost
Family's Medical Adult Day Center in Boynton Beach.
Mr. Mattioli began his nursing career at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor,
Michigan, where he developed a passion for caring for the elderly, and became a care
manager before returning to Florida. He is a certified trainer for the Alzheimer
training course for home health agencies in Florida and coauthored the curriculum
used for the training. Mr. Mattioli is a member of the National Association of
Professional Geriatric Care Managers. He received a BS in biology from Palm Beach
Atlantic University and a BSN from Eastern Michigan University, and is a certified
Legal Nurse Consultant. He is a current member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and the Case Management Society of America.
